Best of Summer Weddings 2017

Hi friends!  Welcome to the most anticipated time of the year...FALL!  I can't help but want to drink all the PSL's, watch Hocus Pocus on repeat, and cozy up in my fluffiest sweater (all under the 80 degree Georgia heat).  But with fall arriving, out goes summer.

This past summer was one of the most amazing summers of my life.  This wedding season was my wedding season as well, so I got to share in the excitement and really meet my brides where they were emotionally.  I married my college sweetheart on July 1st, and it was the perfect day (check out my previous post for more).

I got to be a part of so many amazing weddings this season, and share life with some really amazing girls.  I am rounding up my favorite images from summer 2017 as well as sharing my TOP 3 must-have makeup products from this summer. Happy fall y'all!

SUMMER TOP THREE

The products above were my biggest stand-out staples in my kit for this summer.  Each season I will be sharing my absolute must-haves and why I love them!

  1. Soleil Tan de Chanel:  This amazing cream-bronzer comes in one color, for good reason.  It has a surprising ability to warm-up a wide range of skin tones.  Used sparingly to bring life to fair skin, or used to bring an amazing warm-glow to dark skin- it has been one of my go-to products for every type of girl!
  2. Mac Lipstick in HoneyLove:  This was my most used lipstick for this summer.  Along with creamy whites and dreamy greenery (my favorite!), this summer saw a huge trend of peach-tones. This lipstick has a perfect blend of nude-peach coloring with a hint of pink.  This lipstick topped with a bit of Anastasia Beverly Hills Lipgloss in Dainty has been a perfect fit for many of my ladies this summer.
  3. Becca Backlighting Filter Face Primer : Say hi to my love of this summer!  This primer was used under foundation to prime the skin, mixed with foundation to sheer it out and give a glow, over cream products to highlight high-points of the face- and just about everywhere in between.  The key with all my go-to's is to think outside of the box and do exactly what makeup is intended for- having fun!
